Laureus Academy Member and Gumballer, Lennox Lewis, returns to TRASO in Mexico City

As part of this year’s legacy initiative, the Gumball 3000 Foundation, in partnership with Laureus Sport for Good, supported the TRASO Boxing Program in Mexico City.

TRASO is a youth development programme that uses boxing as a foundation to engage children and young people in underserved communities, combining sport with education, mentorship, and psychosocial support. Its holistic model is designed to help participants build confidence, resilience, and life skills while creating safer pathways and expanded opportunities for their future.

Through this partnership, the Gumball 3000 Foundation and Laureus Sport for Good helped strengthen TRASO’s impact and highlighted the power of sport as a vehicle for social change - investing in environments where young people could grow not only as athletes, but as empowered members of their community.

In support of the programme, Laureus Academy Member Lennox Lewis joined his first Gumball 3000 Rally, attending the Rally Finale in Mexico City as a special guest in support of TRASO’s mission. His presence celebrated the programme’s work while highlighting the shared commitment of Laureus Sport for Good and the Gumball 3000 Foundation to creating opportunities for young people through sport.

As part of its ongoing charitable efforts, the Foundation was pleased to announce that TRASO received a portion of its annual grant to Laureus Sport for Good.
