The John Lennon Educational Tour Bus Joins the Gumball 3000 Rally

The Gumball 3000 Foundation facilitated and activated the John Lennon Educational Tour Bus as part of the Rally’s New Orleans stop, bringing its world-class Dolby Atmos mobile studio experience directly into the heart of the city’s vibrant creative community.

As part of this initiative, the John Lennon Educational Tour Bus engaged emerging local talent through immersive recording sessions aboard the Lennon Bus, where young artists from both The Ellis Marsalis Center for Music and Junior Achievement collaborated with professional musicians from Treme and the Seventh Ward to create original music within one of the world’s most culturally significant musical landscapes.

The collaborative track produced through the initiative premiered during the Gumball arrivals on June 6, followed by additional recording sessions and career-focused workshops for New Orleans students in the days that followed.

This initiative provided meaningful access to professional creative tools, hands-on music production experience, and direct mentorship - helping to inspire, empower, and elevate the next generation of artists emerging from New Orleans’ rich cultural heritage.

The Lennon Bus departed for Texas with the Gumballers on Sunday, June 7th, showcasing the powerful collaboration and natural alignment this incredible initiative shared with Gumball.

Special thanks went to Brian Rothschild, Anna-Luisa Ballauf, and Renée Waters for their role in facilitating and bringing this collaboration to life.
